Partnership is formed when several individuals with expertises in different areas have mutual trust on each other. Partnership is not a legal entity under Hong Kong Companies Ordinance. Therefore, in case the assets of the partnership are not sufficient to cover the liabilities of it, all partnership must contribute their own assets in accordance with their partnership agreements to settle the liabilities of the partnership.
Partnerships formed in Hong Kong are required to comply with Hong Kong Partnership Ordinance (Cap 38).
